Graphical Legend

Base Color - machine status indicator
Green Normal operating status. This machine is available to run (or running) jobs.
Yellow Offline.  This machine has been marked offline and not available to have jobs scheduled on it.  It is reachable by normal administrative means. Load indication and metrics may still be collected.
Gray Unreachable.  This machine was unable to be queried for information.  This machine may be marked Offline or have a normal status in the eyes of the scheduler, but yet is unresponsive to the metric-gathering process. Generally, the machine is powered down or unplugged from the network.
Black Skull & Crossbones - This machine is reported as DOWN by the scheduler.

Load Indicators

The stacked blue bars indicate the % load on the system.  The load is normalized to the number of processors that machine has. The load bars with red tops indicate that an overload situation exists on that machine.  An overload is a load of roughly 1.2 times the number of processors on that machine. This threshold may be modified by the system administrators.

Background Colors

The background color of the machine's cell indicates which job is currently scheduled on it.  The color of the background corresponds to the color of the background of the associated job's row color, listed in the jobs table below the graphics.  There may be more than one job scheduled on a machine, but only one color may be shown as a result of browser limitations.  The only exception to this rule is the Skull and Crossbones which has a bold red background, a reserved color.  There are no jobs that will have that color red as their color.

Job Background Colors

Jobs will alternate 2 shades of light gray while in a Queued state.  Once the enter a Running state, they are assigned a color. There are a few reserved special colors: Dark gray - Exiting, Orange - On Hold.
